****Please note class date/time is subject to change due to COVID-19**** The Hybrid will consist of a two part - segmented class which will encompass a required live, online portion via WebEx conference. We will cover the majority of class material through a combination of lecture, videos, demonstration, and interactive question and answer discussion time. Topics include sleep, tummy time, feeding, infant choking rescue and CPR, fire and safety, "babyproofing", and car safety. The online format will allow us to explore the most important information regarding safety through the first year of baby's life from the comfort of your home. After completing the online portion, you will be invited to attend an in-person hands-on skills demonstration and practice session at the WakeMed Corporate Center. This segment of the class is optional but highly recommended to build your confidence with Infant CPR and Choking Rescue skills. You will sing up for a convenient time slot for your family via SignUpGenius and meet with your instructor in small, socially distanced class groups (Sign-up will be made available by your instructor). These sessions will take approximately 30 minutes of your time and no longer than 45 minutes.
