Description

Research shows that women who have the most support are able to successfully breastfeed for longer periods of time. At WakeMed, we have designed our Breastfeeding Basics class to give pregnant parents the information and confidence to get off to a great start with breastfeeding! This 3-hour class incorporates lecture slides, videos, hands-on demonstrations, and Q&A time. Books will complement the lecture and will be distributed in class. This class is "In-Person".

Please note: If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or another acute, contagious illness, please stay at home and call or email  to reschedule your class. By entering a WakeMed facility, visitors are attesting that they are free of the symptoms of contagious illness.
