This fast-paced interactive one-day class is designed for new or more seasoned parents. The class covers all of the basics of labor and birth preparation, including labor recognition, phases and stages of labor, ways to manage pain in labor and more. Classroom instruction will complement textbook given during class. (9:00am – 5:00pm) This class is "in-person". If you are feeling sick or have been diagnosed with Covid 19, if you are experiencing symptoms related to Covid 19, if you are waiting for Covid 19 results, or if you have been exposed to someone with Covid 19, please stay at home and call to reschedule: 919-350-8235. This class includes an optional tour of the Labor & Delivery and Postpartum hospital units at the campus location during the last hour of class time.
